Get your PS3 ready for … Life? – Coming late August

Originally announced mid-July, Sony is set to launch ‘Life’ it’s new worldwide service for it’s PlayStation 3 console ..

Basically the concept of ‘Life’ is to provide news and weather updates, from your PS3, with users able to access regional stories and forecasts via a rotating Earth. It’s not a new concept, as we recently saw Nintendo follow suit on the Wii, with it’s news and weather channels, which provide similar information through the console to it’s users.

The service is set to launch, worldwide, late August 08.
