Microsoft’s 300M ad campaign to fight back from Apple’s ‘Get a Mac‘ ads finally made sense yesterday, when they aired the third in the series, ‘Im a PC’. Unlike the first two episodes in the series, Microsoft is now pushing the right message – People who use PCs are not, dull, boring, uneducated stereotypical users, they’re human, and some of them successful humans at that.

In this episode we see a randomly selected group of people, spanning the globe, explain they use PC’s and how their profession and lifestyle choices kind of ‘reflect’ that.

Rumors are circling of Microsoft moving away from using Seinfield in the rest of the campaign, but it is not yet known whether this was entirely intentional, or was a decision made after the response they received after the first two ads aired.

Microsoft have since released two further ads in the series: I Wear a Suit and I Am Not Alone

heh, these are better! Only think is, makes you realise how many dumb deluded people there are in the world.

Think Apple should counteract with an advert that takes the ‘PCs’ lets them use a mac for a while and see what the outcome is.
