Sony Entertainment Inc has tonight sent a mail shot out to users, advertising the launch of their new App-Store-esque store for it’s PlayStation® Portable (PSP) Device ..
The above is from the mail shot I received from Sony. With previously owning a PlayStation® portable myself, I must still be on their mailing lists. Anyway, according to the mail shot, Sony have tonight launched native mobile access to their PlayStation® Store through their hand-held gaming console, PlayStation® Portable (PSP).
Access to the store is included in version 5.01 of the system software (which is free to all users) and features game demos, as well as fully playable and purchasable titles such as their world-renowned title Loco Roco (locoroco.com)
“You can now access PlayStation®Store directly from your PSPâ„¢ (PlayStation®Portable). Get the content you want, when you want with System Software 5.01 and put PlayStation Store in your hands.
The store is said be the new home of a multitude of free content, as well as playable game demos and purchasable content.
- Exclusive full game downloads
- Free demos
- Movie trailers
- Music content
- Game expansion packs
- Downloadable PSP versions of PS one classics.
“Choose from great demos of top titles, such as echochrome and Everybody’s Golfâ„¢2, plus great value, full games, such as flOwâ„¢ or LocoRoco.”
