What better way to simulate cracking a cookie than using the built in accelerometer of the iPhone and iPod touch. Cracking your cookie open is as simple as shaking your device and slamming the cookie against either wall on either side.

Think the fortune you just cracked open describes you down to the last detail? Did you receive an hilariously laugh-out-loud prediction for the future? – Fortune allows you to share your fortune immediately with the world by e-mailing your fortunes to other people on your mailing list. Not enough? – There are also options to post your fortune’s directly to twitter, through Tapulous’ own Twitter client, Twinkle.

The fortune you received not very relevant? – Re-write your own fortune. Fortune by Tapulous allows you to write fortunes of your own, and seal them back up in a very nicely designed fortune cookie to share again with yourself, or another.
Overall
As with all previous titles by Tapulous, Fortune comes to us at a price we can’t refuse. Free. Harmless fun, and one outstanding UI, barring limited functionality Fortune is another hit for us. The one we’re really waiting for them to release though, is the one we told you about not so long ago, Collage.
