This is it. It has come. The game we have all been waiting for is finally here! Sniper vs Sniper by Com2us has arrived, bringing more than just broad excitement! I was fortunate enough to receive the very first promo code to it, and here I am with the review. But, Is this game really worth purchasing, or is it just another dud?

So, let’s jump right in. Sniper vs Sniper. What comes to mind when you here this name. For me (and for you as well, I’m sure) it’s weapons, two different shooters, buildings, forests, and much more. Let’s cut short here, I don’t want to spoil anything.

Once you launch the game, your greeted with an awesome Com2us splash-screen. As I’ve mentioned in my previous review(s), I never take an app any further, with pride, without a welcoming splash-screen. To abide the excitement, I was also addressed with a well-done video trailer. It helped out a lot with the game story and what I was falling into.

Before being brought to the main menu, a Tip box came up. This occurs every time you launch the application and when it’s loading up a match. Another thing that occurs before you stop at the main menu is another box, this time with a question that asks if you would like to connect to the internet. This way you can play others worldwide.

Okay. We eventually reach the main menu which gives you a list of options here. They are, Single Mission, Online Play, Worldwide Ranking, Settings, Introduction (the video trailer), and More Games from Com2us. If your a beginner, I would advocate going with Single Mission to get the hang of the gameplay as well as the game in general.

Now, let’s proceed on with the fun part. Online Play. This is the most entertaining feature, on my part. The reason being, is because of the features it has to offer. Such as, ranks, custom names, friends list, etc. With assets like these, you know your in the right spot.

Essentially, this game is all about snipers and online play. If someone’s still tampering with the Single Mission, then your clearly dealing with a beginner. Or a single player addict. I mean, it isn’t bad to be playing on Single Mission, but primarily, your dealing with an multiplayer game here.

So, to the controls we head. Okay, your at the Online Play game board and you notice hundreds, perhaps thousands of players online. Either you can request a match with a player, by simply tapping their game tag, or they can request a match by tapping yours. This guides us to the gameplay.

The gameplay is simply outstanding and very admirable. It’s unlike any other shooting game I’ve ever come across, to date. Once your match begins, your given binoculars and a sniper with unlimited ammo. To access either tools and/or fire, it’s just simply a tap away.

To make this game more challenging, they hide (as I like to call it) challenges. It’s not really hiding, because it’s the complete opposite, but it definitely makes the game more difficult in general. Some of these challenges can range anywhere from the sniper scope moving to the opponent becoming more elaborate to see.

All-in-all, this game has it all and I couldn’t ask for anything more than what it brings on. Do me a favor, and purchase this app the second it hit’s the iTunes App Store shelves!
