We all know the iPad is going to ship with Google Maps. Already available as an iPhone app, myCoordinates Pro for iPad aims to take this functionality and build upon it.

Designed and developed by indie developer Dylan McKee, myCoordinates Pro is an app to allow you to easily use your iPad for the purpose of navigation. It aims to be simple and easy to use, while both useful and functional.

Feature List

– Current Coordinates (in Decimal or Minutes)
– Altitude (from GPS or USGS Altitude Database, in both Meters and Feet)
– Distance Tracking so you can easily see how far you’ve traveled
– Reverse Geocoding
– Map with easy zooming etc
– Ability to share map and location via various methods including email and copy and paste.

Screenshots

Using a split-screen view to show both map and data, myCoordinates Pro will not only allow you to see your current location, but will also allow you to see your current Latitude and Longitude, alongside information such as location accuracy, providing you with the necessary tools to create a better picture of your current location.

As far as we’re aware, no release date nor launch pricing has been announced for myCoordinates Pro for iPad.
