Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, at which it usually announces a new revision to its iPhone hardware, has sold out.

The event was officially announced by the company on April 28th 2010, and today @MacRumors is reporting the event is completely sold out.

The event will take place at San Francisco Moscone West from June 7-11, and as previously mentioned above, is highly expected to be focused around the iPhone OS platform. Tickets for the highly anticipated event range in price from $1000 – $1500 – with @Macworld reporting their ticket was $1595, a whopping $300 up from last years conference.

This is the third WWDC in a row for Apple which has completely sold out. The first being WWDC 2008.

With the recent unveiling of the “Next iPhone” by Gawker media network @Gizmodo, it will sure be interesting to watch what happens at WWDC this year. Are you going? Let us know in the comments section.
