Alongside their critically acclaimed sound activated mouth generator MouthOffâ„¢ becoming FREE today, London-based design studio ustwo have just announced that in preparation for @OpenFeint’s ‘FreeAppDay’ Sunday special, the third in their 48hr series of apps …â„¢, has also dropped to FREE.
…â„¢, which is the third in a series of an exclusive set of specially designed applications for both iPhone and iPod touch has today dropped to FREE for 24 hours. The app which I happened to profile over at @148Apps in February, is a minimalistic monochromatic 2D puzzler which sees you trying to guide a ball through various different layers. Control is managed by tilting your device, taking full advantage of the device’s accelerometer.
As I said in the review, I really like this game:
As for gameplay, ”¦â„¢ runs extremely smooth (as least that was my experience running the game on my 3GS). As with ..â„¢ though, I really can’t see where the studio will take the series next. Could we see a tilt-based side-scroller ”˜Rolando-esque’ take for ”¦.â„¢? Overall a simple game, one which I personally found hard to pick fault with .. and put down for that matter. ”¦â„¢’s gel of sheer challenge and a super well designed playing field had me hooked from the start.
