With news last week that the iPad is now officially outselling the Macintosh computer in the US, market analyst Mike Abramsky of RBC Capital is predicting the device is set to completely outsell the Macintosh computer, internationally, by the end of this fiscal quarter.

With the company now steadily shifting a staggering 200,000 iPads a week in the US, and citing that the 9 countries which saw the iPad launch on Friday were considered the Cupertino-based company’s strongest international markets, accounting for 50 percent of overseas revenue, Abramsky reckons Apple should shift around 8.1 Million units by year’s end. A tall order for any company, but one which Apple being who they are, should be able to meet.

As noted by the site, 78 of the 88 countries where the iPhone is available have yet to receive the iPad. That said, these countries are eventually sure to get the device just like the rest of us, later this year or early next.
