If you’ve managed to snag yourself a copy of iWork for iPad, by purchasing the separate mutli-touch versions of Keynote, Pages and Numbers, you’ll probably have found the suite of apps is both affordable and capable.
But today, a new alternative has arrived set to grace our touchscreens.
Already available for iPhone and iPod touch, Documents To Go is an office suite which like any office suite allows the user to edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, with the app also supporting Office 2007/2008/2010 XML formats.
Also, due to the recent update to iTunes adding support for File Sharing, Documents to Go takes full advantage of this with its “Open in”, allowing users to import, open and view the likes of iWork, Microsoft Office and Mail documents in the software.
To celebrate the launch the developers are offering the software at a 20% discount for a limited time only. Originally $16.99, the software is today on sale for $14.99, although be quick! – The sale is set to end sometime today.
