iTunes Connect Mobile Pulled From the App Store? – [Updated x3: Version 1.0.1 the Cause?]

After us reporting yesterday that Apple had released iTunes Connect Mobile for developers, it seems today the application is no longer available for download.

The FREE app which was specifically designed to allow developers to check up on how their application(s) were selling, brought the ability to view both daily and weekly sales data for all applications on the App Store and allowed developers to keep track of how their application(s) perform.

But today it seems the application is no longer available for download. Its so far unclear why the application has been pulled, but with iTunes Connect Mobile being an Apple-designed app you can sure as hell bet there’ll be a good reason.

[Update] – As noted by many readers while the app doesn’t yet show up in iTunes search, the app is still available for download via the direct link.

[Update 2] – The app no longer appears to be available on iTunes US.

[Update 3] – As noted by @PolishDemon, iTunes Connect Mobile was recently updated to version 1.0.1, which may be part of the cause for the app now failing to display on various stores.

Thanks to @JFMartin67 for sending this in!

I can see the app in the US store now. However, when you click on the developer link (Apple Inc.) you don't see the app in the list of apps for iPhone. Just the 5 that were already there: MobileMe Gallery, MobileMe iDisk, Keynote Remote, Remote and Texas Hold'em.
