With just 4 days to go until iPhone 4 officially lands in UK and US retail stores, it seems Apple has started expediting US pre-orders to ship first.
@MacRumors is reporting that a number of its readers have started to see Apple sending out shipment notifications for the device via e-mail. In fact, according to the site some readers are already claiming to have FedEx tracking numbers for their orders, meaning the device is actually on the road.
That said, it is highly likely that even though some iPhone 4 orders may have been shipped early, they wont necessarily arrive at their final destination early, with normal Apple policy being to impose a embargo on the couriers to hold deliveries on this nature until launch day, in this case Thursday, June 24th.
On the other hand, UK customers are still reporting their orders to be sitting in the ‘Not Yet Shipped’ stage.
