Okay, this is a tiny teaser, but it has absolutely done the job.

MoodLyst has dropped a first look at what appears to be the app running on Apple’s upcoming iPhone Duo — and yes, that inside display is looking very interesting.

The teaser features the artwork for RODEO by ill peach — a song Apple used in its own marketing for the new foldable — and gives us a glimpse of MoodLyst sitting on the Duo’s inner screen, with the familiar pink-and-purple aesthetic filling the display.

It’s only a small slice of the interface, but it immediately raises the fun question: what happens to apps when they suddenly have two very different places to live?

The Duo’s front display isn’t simply another iPhone screen. Its tall, narrow format changes the way apps, feeds and content can be presented — and MoodLyst feels particularly suited to experimenting with that space.

There’s something rather nice about seeing an app designed around moods, colours and little rememberable moments appearing on a completely new iPhone form factor.

This is only the teaser, however.

The iPhone Duo is coming.

And, it looks like MoodLyst is ready.
