Flyloop

Yes, I am reviewing a game that focuses on butterflys. But don’t turn away yet! Flyloop is a unique, intuitive, and challenging game with a deceivingly simple exterior and is worth a second look.

The concept of Flyloop is a simple one. Different colored butterflys fly around the screen, and it is your job to draw loops to capture butterflys of a similar color. As I said before- don’t be fooled by how simple it sounds. The mixture of sizes, colors, and speeds is more than enough to create an intense challenge. Did I mention it all must be done within a time limit?

As I said above, there are different colors of butterflys, along with wildcard butterflys that can be matched with any other color. The more butterflys you match in a single loop, the more points you receive. The concept is simple, but it proves to be challenging throughout. There’s a help section as well.

Your replay value motive here is the high score boards. Check your personal bests, today’s bests, the week’s, and then onto the all-time best scores. The scoreboards all work well and are integrated perfectly.

There is only one game mode to play through, but it’s designed well and should keep you busy for a time. This game is great for quick-fixes when you need it. The challenge itself is enough to make the campaign feel lengthy.

The graphics work well, but prepared to be hit with an onslaught of colors as chromatic butterflys fill the screen. The interface is smooth, and everything flows well. The soundtrack is great, and it fits the cute and whimsical theme perfectly. Of course, you can always listen to your own. It all has a very cutesy theme to it and it all works.

For .99$, Flyloop is a unique and challenging game that should keep you interested and busy for well worth its price tag. With a unique idea, good graphics and sound, and a challenge as well, (not to mention the skimpy price tag) Flyloop is worth a look.

Ha! I was wondering when you’d find this one.
I tried this game out a long while ago. It kept my attention for a day or two, but then I got bored.
