With the iPad being marketed as a device for the home, it may not fully replace our everyday organization system found on a Mac or PC. But as with the iPhone, having the functionality there will almost definitely be considered a plus in the long run.
A few minutes ago, we got the heads up from indie developer Anthony Geranio, announcing his iPad application – Reminders.
A simple and rather elegant app on first impressions, Reminders is a sticky note application which offers a choice between creating a sticky note for a dedicated RSS feed or just creating a regular sticky note for your shopping list, or important things to do.
We asked Geranio to tell us a little more about the application:
“The app’s RSS feed option allows you to choose one of your favorite feeds and add them to any note programatically, in a text field. Once in, the feed automatically reloads the latest items each time the app is launched, and you’re all good to go! This is so that you can basically keep track of your favorite sites from Reminders, on a daily basis.
Note color changes are also offered, allowing you to distinguish between your favorite and most urgent notes. Blue notes are for favorites and red notes signify urgency.
Geranio also tells us that in an upcoming update, Reminders for iPad will gain the ability to create ‘Audio Notes’. No release date has been set for Reminders, but we’ll be sure to pick it up when it is released and take a closer look!
