We just got a tip off from Mills (@Millsustwo) of London based design studio ustwoâ„¢ about the studio’s scheduled special event, happening later this month.

Taking place at the Regent Street Apple Store and running from 7PM to 8PM, this special event is set to celebrate ustwo’s upcoming launch of their next application for both iPhone and iPod touch.

Dubbed Inkstrumentalâ„¢, and featuring design by world known graphic artist @JonBurgerman, the app is described as “sound graffiti” and all in all has reportedly cost the studio in the region of £30,000 £50,000 to both develop and prepare it for launch.

Its probably no surprise then, that ustwoâ„¢ are stressing – Inkstrumentalâ„¢ is considered the BIG one. The app is pretty simple really. Consisting of weird but wonderful characters, the app allows you to both create and record mixes of sounds simply by tapping on each of the characters.

Featuring crisp animation and a simple yet fun environment, it will be interesting to see how the App Store crowd react to Inkstrumentalâ„¢.
