Forrester Research Analyst Sarah Rotman Epps talks about how Apple’s iPad and other tablet devices will usher in a new era of personal computing.

By now we have all seen the iPad is specifically good at achieving what is was originally designed for; to become a more “intimate” computing experience for business and personal users, alongside the more standard and rigid desktop experience which has prevailed for years.

In this short video below, Sarah Epps of Forrester Research describes a new era of computing dubbed “Curated Computing” in which we will have less choice as a consumer, but because of these content constraints, our overall user experience will be much more relevant.

Its interesting due to the recent feud between both Apple and Adobe over the support of its ‘Flash’ technology on the company’s iPhone OS-based devices. Could we be seeing Apple acting as the curator of the open museum, making sure our stay is pleasurable and as relevant as possible?
