You may remember a while back that software developer @TapTapTap launched a Twitter based contest, to celebrate the official launch of the @Digg iPhone app. The contest gave 14 people over “2 weeks of awesomeness” the chance to win one of 14 exclusively designed custom ‘Digg’ branded iPads.

Today, ‘TheMexicanNerd’ of @YouTube has posted a full un-boxing of the fairly exclusive device, showing its difference to the normal version.

The device has been customized to read the word ‘Digg’ on the back, with the model number stated towards the bottom – and as you can probably see, this device is the 11th made, of the 14 available.

One of the other main differences to the device you may notice is that it doesn’t have an Apple logo. The back has been fully smoothed out with a black coating, contrasted to the normal aluminum finish seen on the retail version. Lastly the actual bezel of the device is also black, again different from the aluminum band around the retail version.
