With the announcement of iPhone 4 a week in the past already, a mass of hype continues to build in the carrier vs consumer world. It’s a race to announce pricing that is rarely witnessed.

Five separate networks literally vying for customers. At the moment though, with no carrier giving any insight into their handset pricing, there’s allot of tension building among us iPhone lovers.

Pre-ordering for iPhone 4 commences tomorrow, and within 10 days it could well be in your hands.

No doubt iPhone 4 will be a major hit throughout the world, and a busy day will sure be in store for those who want to get their hands on one the morning of June 24th. We’ve decided to open another poll. Tell us which UK network you think you will pre-order iPhone 4 with, below.

This poll is set to end June 15th 23.59PM BST

    I can't vote, being in the US where I don't get a choice… 🙁

What idiot is going to make up their mind before they know the prices…

I think you're missing the point. This is to gauge your inclination without knowing the prices.

There has been very little difference in pricing in the past, which has forced us iPhone users to make our choices purely on carrier reliability. O2, admittedly, have introduced another factor to consider with their new data capping announcement. But ultimately, people are going to go with who ever provides the best reception for the areas in which they live, work and commute.

O2 have been reasonably good so far, so unless the other networks are drastically cheaper I shall be staying put.

You haven't provided any of the facts needed to make this decision; for example O2 is NOT offering pre-orders. You'll have to queue up at their store on the 24th (or buy from someone else)..

Hey Mike. Can you possibly point me to a press release from O2 which states they will not be offering pre-orders tomorrow? As far as I'm aware, there isn't one.

That's what O2 customer services have been telling people when you phone them up. I did however find a contradictory article: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/16/20100614/ttc-apple-…

I don't think O2 staff have been told what's happening. Annoying for us cusmoters!

I have Orange in France but they rip you off so much. They always add on extra fees and always make you pay for stupid things. I need to change to a new provider once my contract ends but I want to get the new Iphone.. Wonder when it's available over here.
