5 days to the arrival of iPhone 4 and with the White model of the device not available to pre-order anywhere, rumors are falling to if the device has now been delayed.
Although rumors that the device has been delayed are strong, a glimmer of hope came in the form of a tip from @MacRumors yesterday, which suggests there may in fact be a small amount of the White iPhone 4, come next Thursday.
Today’s tip however follows the rumor we reported on yesterday of the device possible being delayed until September of this year, with Twitter user @Abcmsaj tipping us off on a conversation he had with an Apple representative on Apple.com’s online store chat system.
Alex, who originally sent in the tip, was reportedly asking the online agent if they had any information on if the White iPhone 4 model would be available at launch in the UK, to which the sales clerk responded: “I can not confirm that”. When asked again if the online agent had any information on the coloured device, they responded: “We have no information on this”.
As ever you should take this information for what it is worth – a pinch of salt.
