As we approach this year’s holiday season, we are continuing to find interesting games and apps for the iPhone platform. Along with these great (or not so great) applications come plenty of news stories that we report here on RazorianFly. Like every other week since July 11th, I have found plenty of news stories that I would like to share.
Black Friday Discounts:
Black Friday is an American-only holiday that brings plenty of sales and discounts to shoppers. Thankfully, the generous developers that have put they’re apps on sale made the discounts available all over the world, not only in the US. Notable discounts include: (As previously stated on TouchArcade)
- Mr. Sudoku ($4.99 -> $0.99)
- Mondo Solitaire ($9.99 -> $0.99)
- Aki Mahjong ($4.99 -> $0.99)
- Quick Draw ($5.99 -> $3.99)
- SCRABBLEÂ ($7.99 -> $5.99)
- Spore Origins ($7.99->$5.99)
- TETRISÂ ($7.99 -> $5.99)
- Bugdom 2Â ($7.99 -> $0.99)
- Nanosaur 2Â ($7.99 -> $0.99)
- Enigmo ($1.99 -> $0.99)
Recently there have been plenty of First Person Shooters submitted to the AppStore. First Person Shooter (more commonly known as FPS) are a popular type if 3D shooting games. With the iPhone and iPod touch’s incredible gaming capabilities, developers are rushing to get their FPS on the store as soon as possible. The very first First Person Shooter arrived on the AppStore last week. It’s called Cube, and can be downloaded for free here. Some of the upcoming games include ReVolt, Zombie Mansion, Brothers in Arms, Quake and Bioshock.
TouchGrind Released:
IIIusionLabs’ long awaited TouchGrind [App Store] is now available on the AppStore for $4.99. In the game you use the iPhone’s multi touch display and your fingers to control a virtual skateboard. Some of the key features are the “true physics”, polished graphics, unlockable content along with plenty of others.
If you have another few dollars to spare in your iTunes account, I strongly recommend this game for plenty of reasons. Unlike many iPhone titles, TouchGrind will keep you occupied for hours.
