  • iPad and Me

I’ve never pre-ordered an Apple product before, especially if I haven’t touched it before.  I’m just a very nervous person about electronics.  I worry about the investment and of course my wife’s approval process is just as tight as Apple’s app review process.  So it was no shock to anyone who knows me how stressed and freaked I was.  (more…)

  • iPhone OS 4.0 Predictions?

With a little under an hour left on the clock until the Apple iPhone OS event, we thought it would be great to hear your predictions for what Apple might have up its sleeves.  The chatter of multitasking, advertising and more clouding up the waters, we want to hear from you.  So tell us what you anticipate, want, or need! • The Apple Effect

Since becoming a parent back in 2007, I have begun to notice patterns in our world.  Much of this over-analyzing stems from my exposure to “Be,” a very insightful album by Swedish progressive metal band “Pain of Salvation.”  I learned to begin looking at life at a global level, in doing so with my family as an influence, I began to notice the effect technologies have on us. For beginners who are skeptical or confused on how to use Twitter, finding a straight forward client is next to impossible. After picking a client, and adding followers, you start to realize it can be very hard to keep a handle on things. (more…)

  • MoneyBook

Ok, I’ll be honest, I let me wife manage our finances.  I do so with confidence in her mathematical abilities, since I was a fairly poor school student.  Alas I had to grow up and become an adult, which is more about paying bills than it is about parties and hanging out.  So needless to say, I was extremely poor at managing my own budget at the time.  Today, I am proud to say that I have been turning that around with the graceful help of MoneyBook for the iPhone and iPod touch. • iMExchange

I am unfortunately employed with a company that will not allow iPhones to be used in their corporate environment.  Never mind their reasoning, I just can’t seem to make them see the light.  I had lived for years with the poor integration of Outlooks task management system on my Blackberry and searched high and low for an alternative.  After several weeks of disappointment with other todo apps and their efforts to thwart out the Blackberry’s plans of global business domination, I happened to find iMExchange by RERLSoft.
