You may know Arnold Kim (Arn), but if you don’t he’s most notably responsible for running Mac Rumors.com – the very successful rumor-based site relating to all things Apple. Earlier this year, to our surprise, Kim announced he’d quit his job as a physician, with the intention to run and manage Mac Rumors full time. He’s now said to be focusing on other interesting, helpful web projects, one of which is App Shopper … (more…)

iPhone Ringtones, with GarageBand and iTunes Plus.
With the introduction of iTunes 7.7, Apple announced their iPhone ringtone service which consisted of you paying an extra 99 cents on top of the 99 cents it cost you originally to buy the full song. I thought we’d pin-point just some of the developers (and their applications), which we think are currently front running in design, functionality and status … (more…)

Apple disables ability to review on iTunes without initial purchase.
Possibly one of the biggest upsets about the App Store (and the iTunes Store in general) was the ability for iTunes customers to write a customer review on a product which they didn’t actually own yet. This served to give rather ‘great’ items on the store an unfair, poor rating … (more…)
