This Information is Now Out of Date. Please See RFlyGD.com for the Latest.

There is one major selling point which can be the difference in your App Store application turning over £670 a fortnight for you, or £4.50 a month. What is this selling point? – it’s icon. With the introduction of the App Store, and hundreds upon thousands of applications being submitted monthly, your application may sometimes get lost, or not get noticed as much as you’d like it to be.

In an attempt to make you and your application stand out from the crowd, I’m introducing … iPhone icon design from RazorianFly.com. (more…)

  • A Brief Look at: Brightkite for iPhone

I have to admit I’d never heard of Brightkite until the application hit the store yesterday (is that bad, should I have known what it was? :/). I’m sure this was one of the intentions of the developers, to get the word out, so I’m not too worried, I’ll just pretend to be one of those new guys – you know the ones … I’ve gathered it’s a fairly popular social networking client which aims to use location API’s to let everyone know where you are, and if you choose, what your doing …

I was accepted into the beta phase and received my invite from them late last night.
Hit up the jump for our full look … (more…)

  • In Partnership with “The Apper”

A couple of weeks ago, James Foote of The Apper contacted me requesting a uniquely designed icon for his debut app ‘The Apper: News and Reviews’. In return for designing the icon, we asked James to include RazorianFly’s content in the application! … (more…)

  • TVPlus: Record to your Sky+ box. Wirelessly – [Updated]

Released just a few days ago, this is definitely one for UK and Ireland. TVPlus is in fact the first application on the store to offer and integrate Sky‘s ‘Remote Record’ functionality. Sound sweet? – Well it is, for the most part.
However, there are a lot of downsides which go with it … (more…)

  • Heads Up: THTouch by Pit Garbe

Today we got a tip-off from independent developer Pit Garbe. He was looking for exposure of his new application released onto the store last Monday. It’s a card game, more specifically, Poker. THTouch.
I’ll let Pit himself explain the game to you … (more…)

  • Ngmoco Debuts on the Store: Maze Finger & Topple

Ngmoco have been in the news a lot lately, but they first hit it big for being one of the first companies to, aim development at Apple’s touch platform, and secondly, secure funding from the $100.000.000 iFund.

The VC-funded Silicon Valley start-up ngmoco have this morning debuted two of their three killer apps onto the App Store. Committed to making iPod touch and iPhone the leading platforms they were created to be, and focusing on bringing innovation into the world of touch, ngmoco are certainly an App Store presence to watch.

After the jump I get into what these two new titles offer,
and why you’ll be falling over yourself to get their third … (more…)

  • [Sept/Oct] – Recent App Round-Up

With the recent removal of the ‘All iPhone Applications’ and ‘Most Recent’ search features on the App Store, it can now be quite a task to find recent, decent applications. This was precisely one of the reasons for Arnold Kim launching App Shopper a few weeks back.

However, I’d like to take a few minutes to look at some applications which have caught my eye, and that I think you may just have missed … (more…)
