Yesterday, we got the heads up by Agile Partners that their new app is on its way to the AppStore, AmpKit. Agile Partners, for those who are unfamiliar with the name, are the developers of both Guitar ToolKit and Tab ToolKit, probably the two biggest selling apps for Guitarists.
Being a big fan of both Guitar ToolKit and TabToolKit this new app sounds very exciting. AmpKit is said to be the ultimate amp and pedal kit right on your iPhone with the ability to record what you’re playing as well. Agile Partners have teamed up with Peavey Electronics to put this amazing app together. Whilst the app is free, you do need to purchase the AmpKit LiNK (available to pre-order for $39.99) which will allow you to plug your guitar into your iPhone.
