  • What in God’s name is iTunes Backing Up?! – [Updatedx2]

iTunes becoming ridiculous over syncing iPhone.

    [Updatex2 – 02.09.08] – (15.07pm GMT)

There is however a temporary fix. The following instructions are how to completely disable iTunes from backing up your devices. Note: This is not an ideal solution by any means, and could mean, in the event of a system crash and/or factory restore, you may not have an up-to-date backup to restore from.

    1) Quit iTunes
    2) Open Terminal.app
    3) Type (or copy and paste) the following command, then hit Return:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool true

    [Updatex2 – Apparently Not]

    Recent Claims
Earlier in the month Kevin Rose, founder of Digg outlined what he thought the outcome of Apple’s September 9th special event, would be. Now all this is great, but the claim which seems to have been overlooked is the possible introduction of a monthly subscription option for iTunes purchased music. iTunes Unlimited …

  • iTunes no-longer transferring applications bought using the mobile App Store?

As you probably know by now, Apple’s App Store works on an ecosystem. You buy an application, it downloads over the air, you sync with iTunes, and the application is transferred to your main ‘Applications’ library to be available for a future sync. Bearing in mind a sync replaces all content on the device with that of whats in the iTunes library your syncing your iPhone with …

Ok, so my intention today was to get a full review up of the popular iPhone application ‘Radius’, after picking it up late afternoon yesterday. Unfortunately, things have just gone from bad to worse with the software on my iPhone. Therefore I apologise, and I will try and get that review up as soon as possible.
