Netflix is one of the first big-name apps to get properly optimized for Apple’s new foldable, and @iJustine has given us a quick look at what that experience is like.

Being into movies myself, I’ve been watching this app very closely. After submitting feedback to it’s developers back in late September outlining the use of tacky UI elements and bugs which ultimately made the app crash, they finally released version 1.1.0 on the store. Jeffery Grossman’s app store venture, Movies [App Store] recently caught the attention of a major player. Flixster, the movie social networking site, has bought the application and it’s rights from Grossman. This is the first ever acquisition of an iPhone application. The exact figure Flixster stumped up for the application, is not being publicly disclosed.
Last night, the application re-launched onto the App Store, bringing with it, version 1.5. This new update includes a totally re-designed user interface and many more new features. Among the new features are:
