    [Update – 26.08.08]

Thank you to everyone who contacted me.
If your still interested, drop me at razorianfly@gmail.com

    Original Article:
I am looking for a highly-talented iPhone developer to develop and design a simple iPhone application directed at grabbing content from this blog. This new application will be coined ‘RazorianFly Mobile’. The idea being, the app will provide an easy, and clean, interface to read Razorianfly, while mobile, and will be available to everyone, worldwide, through Apple’s App Store. The application will be set out in a list form, and would update over Wifi, Edge and 3G. I imagine it would be easy to develop, but unfortunately I’m lacking C+ programming experience. Currently, I’m thinking of going with the same sort of user interface that WordPress for iPhone [App Store] offers – without the editing abilities …

    [Updatex2 – 26.08.08] (19.33pm)

Version 1.1. of Instamapper [App Store] is now available on the app store.

    Original Article:
Last Friday I received an e-mail I’d been waiting on. Instamapper informed me I was successful in securing a provisional beta license for their latest update of Instamapper for iPhone. Version 1.1 is not yet on the App Store.

Instamapper [App Store] is a new application for iPhone only, and provides a tracking service using the built-in GPS profiles of iPhone 3G. For people new to beta-testing products for iPhone, and people who have possible been offered a beta tester position, but didn’t quite know what entailed, I’d like to briefly detail the process …

[Update] – Audio interview with Zac White available here

    Background
If you’ve heard of the application MagicPad by Proximi [App Store], you may of noticed the application is the first of it’s kind to enable copy and paste on iPhone, the problem being of course this application, because of the SDK, can only offer it within it’s own environment, meaning copy and paste outside of the MagicPad application, it seemed, was impossible in-line with Apple’s iPhone SDK regulations …

Recently, Simplify Media – a fairly large media-centric business based in Redwood City, California, yesterday announced that it’s iPhone client, released less than 4 days ago, had exceeded all expectation of it’s staffing, when it reached a staggering 205,909 downloads in approximately 30 hours.

    From Simplify Media’s Blog

For the past year, we’ve experienced smooth growth, but all of that changed dramatically less than 4 days ago when our application debuted in the Apple App Store. Our (aggressive) target was to have 100,000 downloads in 30 days. Instead we reached that goal in about 30 hours. As of last night, we had 205,909 downloads.”

  • Rapid Review: Koi Pond for iPhone.

While browsing the store this evening, I came across a unique application. Koi Pond [App Store].

Basically, Koi Pond by The Blimp Pilots, is a CGR (Computer Generated Realisation) of … well a Koi pond (Koi are fish for anyone wondering …). So what does the application do? – Quite a lot for £0.59.

    Basics
When you launch the application you are faced with a very inviting pond. Dependent on the pond’s settings, the pond, at first, may be very dull, have no fish or contain no lily pads. Run your finger through the water, and you’ll be subject to a dynamic water simulation – it rocks. When I say it rocks, you know the visual feedback you get of running your hand under your tap? – It’s that kinda ‘rocks’ – it’s superb …

  • Simplify Media: It’s hard to share your music, when you find out it’s secured.

Yesterday I blogged about a new, easy, secure way to share your iTunes libraries with other people across the globe. With it, I invited you guys to share mine. Couldn’t access it because of a prompt for a password? – I apologise. I recently found out I had my shared library password protected. This restriction has now been lifted – Go ‘n’ enjoy my music! 🙂

For anyone else who wants to add me through Simplify Media:
