\nThe ad you see above is the second coming of the $300M ad campaign being ran by Microsoft, released yesterday. In it we see Jerry Seinfield and Bill Gates interact with a ‘new family’ throughout their daily life. The ad try’s to compare ‘real life’ scenarios with that of Microsoft Windows … <\/p>\n

“… Are there any monsters in this story? – Yes, but it’s OK, there’s a firewall …”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As with the first episode<\/a> in the series – yes it’s a series, *sigh*<\/em> – these adverts leave you, or they leave me, thinking ‘Why?’ Adverts are meant to capture your attention within 30 seconds, and if they don’t, then they’re obviously not very good. These ‘adverts’ if you can call them that, are just waayy<\/em> too long Bill … waayy too long<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The real question I think we should be asking ourselves is:
\nWhat are Microsoft trying to Achieve?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is either really clever marketing which will make sense further down the line,
