Today, he woke to the image having been viewed over <em>26,000<\/em> times. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If your an iPad owner, you will know that the iPad currently manages iPhone app icons by up-scaling the original 57 x 57 version up to the new 72 x 72 fit for the iPad. The issue being that these icons then look really, really blurred. Frampton&#8217;s concept however would solve this entirely. What he is proposing is that Apple change iPhone OS to recognize iPhone app icons as iPhone app icons, and automatically keep the icon artwork the same size as on the iPhone. The difference being, these iPhone app icons would be differentiated from their iPad specific counterparts due to a thick black frame, the remaining space of the 72 x 72 pixels.<\/p>\n<p>The change would also have an actual purpose, too.
