But today another internal memo has leaked from AT&#038;T which suggests the company has now temporarily suspended iPhone 4 pre-orders. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>@BGR is today <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boygeniusreport.com\/2010\/06\/16\/att-memo-iphone\/?utm_source=feedburner&#038;utm_medium=twitter&#038;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheBoyGeniusReport+%28Boy+Genius+Report%29&#038;utm_content=Twitter\" target=\"_blank\">reporting<\/a>  that an internal memo sent to AT&#038;T employees this morning states that pre-orders, new activations, upgrades and exchanges of iPhone 4 have been temporarily suspended until further notice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arronhirst.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-shot-2010-06-16-at-14.16.001.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>[Update]<\/strong> &#8211; @ModMyI is <a href=\"http:\/\/modmyi.com\/forums\/iphone-news\/714345-t-iphone-4-shipping-2-3-weeks.html?utm_source=feedburner&#038;utm_medium=feed&#038;utm_campaign=Feed:+home_all+(MMi+|+Homepage+All)\" target=\"_blank\">now reporting<\/a> AT&#038;T may have moved all new pre-orders going forward to ship in 2-3 weeks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arronhirst.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/23weeks-1.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>[Update 2]<\/strong> &#8211; This is now thought to be inaccurate due to an AT&#038;T employee claiming the message was shown throughout yesterday&#8217;s pre-order process.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8230;that 2 &#8211; 3 weeks shipping message was being displayed yesterday during pre-order 1 as well, it is just the way AT&#038;T&#8217;s system work[s], since technically they never had iPhone 4&#8217;s in stock. They outline this message in their internal employee documents explaining it.
