Apple is also introducing a dedicated Siri app, giving users somewhere to revisit previous conversations rather than treating every Siri interaction as a one-and-done affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"953\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arronhirst.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_1029.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23589\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.arronhirst.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_1029.jpeg 953w, https:\/\/www.arronhirst.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_1029-300x227.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.arronhirst.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_1029-768x580.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 953px) 100vw, 953px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/os\/watchos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apple<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">The rest of watchOS 27 is about making the Watch feel a little more useful \u2014 and a little less fiddly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s a new <strong>dynamic app grid<\/strong> for getting to your apps faster, while a new single-tap gesture can open the Smart Stack using one hand. Apple says watchOS 27 improves readability with more uniform refraction and better contrast, giving the interface a slightly more polished feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">There are plenty of smaller touches too, including faster music playback, better step-count syncing between <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.arronhirst.com\/?app=1208224953\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fitness<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.arronhirst.com\/?app=1242545199\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Health<\/a>, battery optimisation suggestions and new Smart Stack suggestions that can surface things like a parked-car location or an upcoming sleep alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can install watchOS 27?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3 wp-block-paragraph\">watchOS 27 is available for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apple Watch Series 9 and later<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple Watch SE 3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll also need an <strong>iPhone 11 or later, or iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), running iOS 27 or later<\/strong>.
