Starting Monday, Apple will let customers begin setting up their iPhone Duo pre-order through the Apple Store app<\/a> and Apple.com<\/a>, allowing them to make their choices ahead of the big day. That means selecting the colour, storage capacity, connectivity options and payment details<\/strong> before pre-orders actually go live. (9to5Mac<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other words: you can do the boring bit now, rather than frantically doing it while everyone else is hammering Apple\u2019s servers on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there are quite a few choices to make<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The iPhone Duo starts at \u00a31,999 for 256GB<\/strong>, rising to \u00a32,199 for 512GB, \u00a32,599 for 1TB and a rather eye-watering \u00a33,199 for 2TB. Both Night Sky<\/strong> and Star White<\/strong> are available. (Apple<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019ve decided how much iPhone you actually need \u2014 and how much your bank account is prepared to tolerate \u2014 you can get your configuration ready ahead of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Monday is effectively the starting gun for the pre-pre-order<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
