Hit the jump to fit out what we’ve added and why …

Introducing ‘The Wall’
We’ve been trying for weeks now to implement an easy, user intuitive – and more importantly lightweight – comments facility for not just separate posts, but the front page. A place where you can leave us a comment, or if the mood takes you, what you had for lunch :]. Tonight we found a great WordPress plugin called WPWall.

Using the wall is simple enough. If you want to leave a message hit ‘leave a reply’. The plugin uses Ajax technologies to reveal a user input box. Done with your comment? – hit the submit button and watch your comment be posted in real-time to the wall. We think it’ll come in handy for both you and us – Go on! … leave us a comment.

Next Up …

WP Cumulus
This plugin is phenomenal (or I think it is). Forget boring drop down menus. Basically this plugin finds all of our tags we attach to our posts through the blog, and places them into a flash-based interactive tag cloud.

The animation is set the scroll automatically when you are actively scrolling the front page. As soon as you stop scrolling, so does the plugin. Click a tag and the blog will relay all articles associated with that tag immediately. We’ll be adding blog categories to this shortly.

Nearly there ..

Latest Keynote
We’re pretty fanatical about Apple, and so we sometimes like to show it, if not in our content, on our sidebar! – Each time Apple host an event, we’ll provide a graphic link to the latest quick time keynote stream found at events.apple.com.

Stumble for WordPress
You’ll now find (as below) a large green ‘Liked This Article’ button at the bottom of each post we publish – but what be the purpose of this wee button? – Click it and you’ll stumble upon another article in similar context. There’s more than 2 pages to RazorianFly you know! :] – This way, you’ll get round to seeing every post, with ease.

Finally …

Gravatars
If you remember, we tried to install this plugin a while back, with quite drastic consequences, although now we’ve got it right. If your registered to WordPress, and associate a photo with your account, we’ve now got it so that your avatar (if you have one) will now show up on the right-hand-side of each comment you publish – pretty cool eh?

If you don’t associate a photo with your account, we automatically create your avatar for you, the current default being the RazorianFly logo.

We hope these improvements prove useful to you and your reader experience here at RazorianFly.
Thanks again for being devoted readers!

Hey guys, just a quick one – We’d like to point out a few new blog changes we recently implemented which we think are going to enhance the blog for the better.
