Apple announced it had sold over 1M iPhone 3G units over it&#8217;s opening weekend (3 days). If this is the case, by now, they should be getting pretty common-place. I personally haven&#8217;t seen anyone around Widnes with one, other than myself, but there must be others! &#8211; Come on, show yourself! &#8230; 8)<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On July 12th I bought an <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.macrumors.com\/showthread.php?t=518984\">iPhone 3G White!<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n&#8220;Rang the Apple Store Trafford centre 10am, they said systems were back up. I asked the guy, if he were me, knowing the stock levels, would it be worth the hours trip from Widnes, he said &#8216;definitely&#8217;. I went, queued for 1Hr 10 mins and activation took 20 mins in total. I walked out with a fully functioning iPhone 3G white. Far as I can see, no screen issues.
