If you thought iFart was bad, think again. Sound Grenade many just have your mates pulling their hair out, literally. The app is a classic take on the disruptive high frequency sound emitters that were installed over shops and outlets in 2006-2008 .. but that’s just the beginning.

Sound Grenade Pro. An app of which it’s sole purpose is to emit various 16Khz (or there abouts) high frequency sounds, to turn whoever listens to it, stir-crazy. We like a bit of crazy plain old fun, so lets take a closer look ..
Firstly, it’s like iFart, it’s a very simple app, so there’s nothing much to say about it. Opening the app you’ll be presented with a few options. At the top is your current selection of ‘Grenade’. In this ‘Pro’ version you have four to choose from, whereas in Sound Grenade [App Store] it is limited to the first grenade only.
To set off the grenade, simply tap ‘Activate’. If you want to try something a little different than just “setting it off”, either side of your grenade you have two further modes you can use; Alarm and Timer.

Alarm
This mode allows you to set your chosen sound grenade off to go off, on the sudden or sharp movement of your device. This is controlled by monitoring when the accelerometer is moved excessively.
Timer
Pretty self-explanatory (and as seen in the video), timer mode allows you to set off your grenade after a designated time. Leave you phone around .. and wait for your unsuspecting victims!
Want to tell people how you used sound grenade to your advantage? You can do that too. Hit the ‘I’ button down the bottom, and you can write a confession to the world. Alternatively, you can read everyone else’s confessions, and laugh at how they used sound grenade.
“I used it at work while everyone was eating in the breakroom. I got beat up by 3 guys after they noticed the noise was coming from my phone.”

That’s about it. If you were wondering why you couldn’t hear the first grenade on video, it’s because the first grenade in Sound Grenade can only be heard by a select group of people. People who are tuned to high frequencies. If you are above the age of about 23, you probably won’t hear anything!
It’s a gimmick, and definitely one for the practical joker. Activate it in your pocket, in a room full of people, and watch as they all leave .. 😀 … -_-
