Apple has just this minute released the latest version of iTunes. Hit the jump for more!

Unsurprisingly, this new update brings with it various support for the iPad, due for release this Saturday, including full synchronization options for the device, which in turn introduces a specific section for the syncing over of iBooks from the new iBookstore.

– Sync with iPad to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on the go

– Organize and sync books you’ve downloaded from iBooks on iPad or added to your iTunes library

– Rename, rearrange, or remove Genius Mixes

Update Mar 30th (22.10 PM BST): Unconfirmed reports are coming in of this new update breaking the ability to syncing “jail-broken” iPhones with the software.

The 9.1.0 update is available for download now both via ‘Check For Updates’ within iTunes, or via ‘Software Update’.

Arron, no, apparently it doesn't break jailbroken iPhone syncing. There is a problem with one of the drivers not being loaded correctly after the update. A simple reboot solves the problem. Odd that Apple didn't notice that there was an issue with the update, but ah well. No harm done. (At least none on my end.)
