Well, its been a long wait, but having pre-ordered via a certain transatlantic shopping service, our iPad arrived in the UK yesterday morning!
If you remember a few weeks ago, we told you about us importing an iPad from the US using the transatlantic shopping service, Bundlebox. I personally had never heard of this company before, but decided to give it a shot and pre-order an iPad through them. I have to say, their service and communication was absolutely exemplary. From the minute I ordered, to the minute the FedEx guy arrived at my door, the service couldn’t have been slicker.
First impressions? I’m in love. Seriously. This thing is fast. Not only that, the battery lasted a whopping 9.5 hours (heavy usage), and still had 15% remaining. At that point, I decided to plug it into the mains and see how long it would take to get back up to 100%.
The device took about 2.5 hours to charge from 16%. Not too bad .. and definitely something I’m prepared to live with considering the usage I got out of this thing!
