Apple Issues Update to Entire iWork Suite for iPad

Apple has today updated its new mutli-touch version of its iWork productivity suite for iPad. The update includes improvements for Pages, Keynote and Numbers.

The suite of three applications which currently retails on the App Store for $29.99, has today received its first ever update from the company taking the suite to version 1.1. Being a point release however the update isn’t a major one, with the updates to each mainly adding support for more languages, including support for French, German, Japanese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Spanish.

Other changes include:

– The addition of an option to show additional guides at smaller intervals in Numbers for iPad
– Documents now automatically fit to page width in landscape mode in Pages for iPad
– Enhanced back/front slider in the ‘Arrange’ panel in Keynote for iPad
