If you’ve been a frequent user of the iPad App Store since its launch, you’ll have probably ran across a little app called Crestron Mobile Pro.
Quite hefty in its pricetag, Crestron Mobile Pro is a home-automation app for the purpose of wirelessly controlling your surrounding environments.
From your living room lights, to setting your DVR to security cameras, security keypads, TV remotes, touch-panels and controlling Wi-Fi based devices such as iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The app allows the user to control every physical aspect of their house and the aforementioned devices, wirelessly.
Of course, in order to use the app effectively you need to be both registered with Crestron Mobile systems and have the necessary automation systems installed in your house.
Today, Crestron Electronics have posted this short video to @YouTube which shows the full potential of £60 app, running on the iPad platform.
If you’re not yet sure about dropping the cash on the pro version though, there’s also a FREE version available for iPhone and iPod touch which you can check out, too.
