Seven minutes of Steve Jobs’ upcoming WWDC keynote is allotted to rival company @Microsoft, according to Trip Chowdhry an analyst with tiny Global Equities Research.
According to Barrons, the slot is reportedly allocated to the company for the purpose of talking about Microsoft’s new set of development tools, Visual Studio 2010.
Chowdhry says the new version of VS will allow developers to write native applications for the iPhone, iPad and Mac OS. And here’s the kicker: he thinks Microsoft’s presentation could be given by none other than Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. (Or if not, at least Bob Muglia, who runs Microsoft’s server and tools business.)
I guess we’ll just have to wait 10 days to find out for sure!
[Update] – Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer will not be making an appearance at this year’s WWDC, as just confirmed by the company.
