Today we got the heads up from @KieronDonoghue, founder of @ShareMyPlaylist, that the site’s official client for both iPhone and iPod touch had just been approved by Apple.

Designed to work alongside the official @Spotify for iPhone client, of which the developers say the app won’t work without, ShareMyPlaylists enables Spotify Premium users the ability to discover new music via the company’s over 20,000 growing user-centric playlists.

The app which is the official app of the social music sharing site ShareMyPlaylists, gives users a way to quickly browse through the site’s back catalog of playlists, allowing you to discover the type of music you want to listen to, and helping you to find new tracks everyday.

Split up into four sections, ShareMyPlaylists for iPhone gives users the ability to see the site’s featured and latest playlists, as well as being able to search the playlists by genre, and if you know what you’re looking for already, the app also provides a standard search field.

Each playlist played is then accompanied by it’s own user artwork, and the app even gives you the ability to look-up more info on each individual playlist found.

Already approved by Apple, we’re told ShareMyPlaylists will be available on the App Store for the mighty price of FREE, sometime tomorrow. Even better? We’re also told by Donoghue that the iPhone app will be followed by an iPad-specific app “in the next few weeks”.

Stay tuned as we’ll be live updating this post as to when ShareMyPlaylist shows up on the store!
