With just under 2 hours from Apple opening those now famous doors at Moscone West, @BitterWallet is today reporting someone “in the know” has already informed the site of the UK release date for the next-generation iPhone.

The site claims to have insider information which points to the next-generation iPhone, whatever it may be called officially, hitting UK retail stores Wednesday, June 23rd.

Now considering Apple never release anything on a Wednesday, this would logically then leave the public release to fall on that Friday, June 25th.

As the site explains below:

We’ve been told that the new handset, which we still don’t know the official title of, has a current delivery date to retailers in this country of Wednesday 23rd June. This would likely mean a UK release for the new iPhone on Friday 25 June.

There is a moon-sized caveat slapped all over this information, in that it only comes from one anonymous source. That said, we’ve been able to verify their identity by other means, and believe they are certainly in a position to know the precise details of the situation.
