Alongside releasing iTunes Connect Mobile last night and pushing iBooks today, Apple has announced they are now accepting iOS4-based application submissions, in time for the iPhone 4 official launch in the US, France, Germany, UK and Japan on June 24th.
Sent in the usual way, the Cupertino-based company today sent out a mail shot to all members of its iPhone Developer Program (as seen below), informing each developer that Apple would now be accepting applications tweaked to run on or developed specifically for iOS4.
iOS4 is expected to be available publicly just a few days before the official launch in these 5 countries, starting June 21st.
The software will support iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch (excluding first generation) and unlike previous updates for iPod touch users will be a FREE update, delivered to all customers via iTunes.
