Alongside being able to watch the company’s next special media event on Apple.com, which will mark the first-innings for newly appointed CEO John Ternus, Apple has confirmed in an e-mail sent out to developers tonight that it will also be offering a livestream of the keynote on both Apple TV and YouTube.

Apple is specifically expected to announce its next line of Pro iPhone models at its September event, with the potential for Ternus to introduce the company’s first foldable iPhone.

iPhone Fold (or Ultra) is reportedly set to bridge the gap between an iPhone and iPad, as it tries to act as both an iPhone whilst closed and an iPad once fully folded open.

… and Apple has reportedly fixed the biggest issue with foldables we’ve seen from other manufacturers so far, by creating an almost-invisible centre screen crease.

Rumours of Apple working on such a hybrid device have been swirling for years, with design concepts and mockups depicting the Fold’s slated features having been a consistent presence on Google’s image search tab for some time now.

One thing is for certain:

You’ll want to add Sep 9 to your calendar.
