After Kevin Rose, founder of Digg.com, mentioned the possibility of a native iPhone client for his hugely popular social site Digg in an interview back in October, the web went into a frenzy over when the app would be available publicly.

Today, news site Mashable showcased screenshots it had obtained of the app depicting it’s new interface. They noted that Digg’s launch on the iPhone comes at a key point in the site’s own future road-map coinciding with a complete site re-design coming soon.

At the time of writing, Digg the iPhone isn’t available for download with the app description page returning an ‘Your request could not be completed’ error. The app can now be downloaded from the link below.
