Alongside Harbor Master’s upcoming update, another popular line-drawing game, Flight Control for iPhone, is also due to receive an update.

According to @PocketGamer, the developers of the game @Firemint are set to issue an update to Flight Control for iPhone. The new update will include a bunch of new stuff, including a new map called ‘Windy’ which will simulate real wind conditions on the runway, and may require that you reschedule landings if conditions worsen. Runways will be opened or closed dependent on weather conditions, making for an overall more realistic experience.

The other feature this update will bring is the ‘Fast Forward’ mode as seen on Flight Control HD for iPad. This mode essentially speeds everything up, allowing you to bypass the yawnfully normal speed of the action, if you require it.

Other than that, we’ll see more vibrant colours, shadows, added map detail, game performance improvements and better pathing. While Firemint has not yet set a date for the update to be released publicly, it stresses it will be landing very soon!
