With anticipation for iPhone 4 reaching fever pitch among those who were lucky enough to successfully pre-order to device last Tuesday, today brings a further bit of information which may suggest that the White iPhone 4 model may in fact be available in-store at launch, in the UK.
Twitter user Alex (@Abcmsaj) noticed that the snippet of text under the White iPhone 4 model on the US store stated:
“White iPhone currently unavailable for pre-order or in-store pickup”
Whereas on the UK online store Apple has dropped the “or in-store pickup” part, with our snippet of text reading:
“White iPhone currently unavailable for pre-order”
As Alex suggests, this could mean the White iPhone 4 might be available in-store on Thursday after all (at least in the UK).
