  • In Partnership with “The Apper”

  • TVPlus: Record to your Sky+ box. Wirelessly – [Updated]

Released just a few days ago, this is definitely one for UK and Ireland. TVPlus is in fact the first application on the store to offer and integrate Sky‘s ‘Remote Record’ functionality. With the recent removal of the ‘All iPhone Applications’ and ‘Most Recent’ search features on the App Store, it can now be quite a task to find recent, decent applications. This was precisely one of the reasons for Arnold Kim launching App Shopper a few weeks back.

However, I’d like to take a few minutes to look at some applications which have caught my eye, and that I think you may just have missed … (more…)

Ever since the App Store launched, we’ve seen many developers attempt to design ‘the’ retro table hockey title for the touch platform. Many have tried, some have even (in my opinion) failed.

Hit up that jump for more information on this pretty hot game … (more…)

  • Rapid Review: Plasma, An Addictive Shooter. – [Updated]

Applications priced at 59p can sometimes be hit and miss. I have to admit by first looking at Plasma’s sample screenshots on the App Store, my first reaction was “here we go again … low quality graphics coupled with terrible sound effects” How wrong I was. (more…)
