    Here’s the compete blog post listing some the features you can expect in the first release, as well as some hints at what future updates will bring to the table.

  • Outside – Visual Weather on Sale for WWDC

    To celebrate the start of this years WWDC tomorrow, Robocat have announced today that their popular weather app, Outside, is now on sale for just $0.99/£0.59 saving you a huge 70% of the normal price of this gorgeous replacement for the default weather app. Here’s an extract from our full review;

    The thought put into the entire application is stunning, and I commend Robocat for such a great app. It has a great, persistent UI with a cute new way to look at the weather, the push notifications are useful and custom, it’s extremely reliable, and I just love it to pieces. To quote the AppStore description: “Outside is a visual weather forecast with custom push notification like you’ve never seen before.”

    Since we reviewed this app, it has received an update to version 1.1, here’s the list of things that were added;

    ✔ Multiple Locations! Manage your locations and where you get your notifications from in the new pull down Locations menu on the Home screen.

    ✔ 5 Day Forecasts. Swipe right on Current Weather Condition to see a 5 day overview. Tap the forecast to jump to that day.

    ✔ Completely revamped Message system.

    ✔ When temperature is above 68ºF or 20ºC in Current Weather Condition the coffee cup changes to a Glass of Lemonade. 😉

    ✔ Sleep mode disabled and Outside now auto updates weather every hour if left on. (For your dock viewing pleasure)

    ✔ Notification icon clock hands now shows actual time.

    ✔ Interface & Icon received minor touchups.

    ✔ 110% more love & Awesome

    If you don’t already own a copy of this app, then you should definitely check it out whilst on sale.
